EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• In 2003, graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Lleida (Spain) and obtained his medical degree. He later completed his residency in family medicine and specialized in emergency medicine.
• In 2015, earned his professional certification as a sports medicine physician and specialized in the fields of sports traumatology, healthcare for professional athletes, and medical services for professional sports teams.
• In 2014, defended his doctoral dissertation in medical sciences at the University of Lleida and was awarded a Ph.D.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

• Since 2007, worked at the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida (Spain).
• More than 10 years of professional experience in sports medicine, working with elite and professional athletes (FC Barcelona, the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation, the Davis Cup Final 8, and the Rafa Nadal Academy).
• Continuously enhances his professional experience and qualifications by participating in international conferences on sports medicine, sports traumatology, ultrasound diagnostics of the musculoskeletal system, interventional therapy, orthobiology, sports injury rehabilitation, and Return to Play training sessions and conferences.
• A speaker at international and national scientific conferences and training sessions on sports medicine.
• Actively involved in the development of sports medicine in Spain and Lithuania and is a member of professional associations in this field, including SETRADE and SEMED/FEMEDE.
• Publishes research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals that are indexed in international databases.
